[Singapore/Hong Kong – 1 April 2024] Rick Siu has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Home Control International, taking over from Alain Perrot, who steps down after more than eight years at the helm.
Prior to his appointment to CEO, Mr. Siu was Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw Global Sales, R&D, Innovation, Production, and other activities. His promotion completes a transition plan put into place over a year ago.
“Alain has built a strong foundation for Home Control,” said Mr. Siu. “As CEO, I am honored to continue his legacy.”
Mr. Siu has been in Home Control for close to 25 years, having served the organization in Marketing, Sales, Product, and other roles. In a prior role as Head of Marketing and Innovation, he was responsible for leading the research and development and product marketing teams of the Group to generate innovations, intellectual properties and support the sales team in pre-sales marketing and commercial negotiation activities.
While stepping down as CEO, Mr. Perrot retains his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Home Control, where he will continue to advise and share his insights and experience. His career has spanned multiple leadership positions in Philips, TPV Technology and Home Control. As CEO of Home Control International, he steered the company through several significant events, including the company’s public offering, the pay TV industry transformation, and the expansion of Home Control into new segments.
“Having worked side-by-side with Rick over the past several years, I have full confidence that he will be able to bring Home Control to greater heights,” said Mr. Perrot.
